How do I complete the application?

What supporting documentation should I send with my application?
In most cases, or generally, you are supposed to any documentation while submitting your application. However, if your application comes under the audit for checking steps, you will then need to submit any specific documents accordingly.
Exam Guidance
Once I pass the exam or evaluations, what next?
After the exam or evaluation, you will be called as a PMI certification holder. In fact, the digital badge will sent to you over Credly, which after will be promoted on social media and verified by their employers.
How do I schedule a certification exam appointment?
As soon as your meet the eligibility requirements and approved by the PMI, you will recieve an email on examination scheduling instructions with your eligibility code. The exam code will be asked when you will schedule your exam appointment at a testing center or online.
Where will the examination be given?
Pearson VUE Testing Centers approves all the exams offered by PMI. You can check the location on Pearson VUE's website. For more information, you can head over to PMI's official portal.
Are the exams available in languages other than English?
Some of the exam such as PMP, CAPM, and PMI-ACP are translated into multiple languages. To know more about this, refer to the certification handbooks. As of now, other exams are not translated into other languages; however, PMI will message you if any translation will be done.
If I fail the exam, can I take it again?
Yes, in one-year eligibility period, you can retake the exam if your fail in your first attempt. Fees for recertification are considered when applying for the next attempt. The in-depth detail on this can be found in the respective certification handbooks.
What happens if my eligibility expires and I have not taken the exam?
Well, your application is valid for one year from the date of approval. If you don't appear for the exam in the eligibility time (one-year), you will need to re-apply your application.
Audit
Why does PMI conduct application audits?
To check the candidate's experience and education documents, the audit is conducted. Other than that, it enhances the credibility of the certification program as well as certification holder. The application for each certification is selected randomly.
How many days do I have to complete the audit package?
To complete the audit and submit the audit paperwork, the candidates have 90 days. To check the number of days left in order to complete the audit package, you can login to PMI.org.
How do I submit my audit package to PMI?
To do this, you can login to your myPMI dashboard and choose 'Access Audit Package.' From there, you will be redirected to the application audit page, now upload the academic and professional education documents.
Can candidates continue to access audit packages after submitted?
No. Candidate cannot access the about package after the submission. If you try to open 'Access Audit Package', you will be redirected to the landing page with the message saying that the audit has been submitted.
Will PMI accept an e-mail signature?
Well, PMI accepts the signature in an electronic form.
How long does the audit process take?
The audit process takes 5 to 7 business days of their submission. Once the certification audit team shows a green light, you will then get an email containting your payment instructions.
